This week’s Haiku Sunday is a Hipstamatic Move across the West. It has been a bit since I featured this app and since documenting the journey from Colorado to California this week I felt it an appropriate time for the Haiku and Hipsta!
here he comes riding
lands that were once his now not
because he is now dead
call my agent said
the giant as he made the
valley in two strides
writhing about so
obviously and without
fear of consequences
Sail on Silver Girl
sail on by, your time has come
to shine…who is it?
she stabbed at the ropes
with a toothpick and real hope
free she bled him dry
The giant called again.
Yeah, so what? well, he is pissed and
threatened a boulder
“The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in times of great moral crisis, maintain their neutrality.”
Dante
buried up in them hills
is a secret to knowing why all
secrets are not honest
strike strike strike nothing
the serpent fatigued asked the
man how he did it
That’s really fucking hot!
We made it he said
double double animal style
shake and fries – goodbye!

Somewhere between the haiku and the hipster photos I fell dead. This post is amazing xD hahaha
Eric,
This is very kind of you! Thank you very much. I am so glad you enjoyed it
Laughter, amazement, and sighs.
Between pix and verse a great way to start this week
Great shots – (hard to pick a favorite)
I am honored. It seems the poetry was on this week and what is funny is I felt so disjointed when I wrote them (the poems have a life of their own, I am merely the channel)
Your words and pics had me in awe … then pow … the surprise ending! Thanks for the chuckle as well.
gotta know what you are driving across the country for
Thank you for the kind words and the amazing support!
Love the “double H” posts! glad they’re back
I LOVE the red rock picture and of course the Double-Double. Very awesome. I especially love your ending. Now don’t think I haven’t forgotten about that Haiku. I’m still working on it. It’s become a little bit more challenging. I’m aiming for next Sunday, though.
OK, please send me a direct message when you do it as I must see your long awaited Haiku!
Pretty awesome images and post here Michael ~ and… the shadow capture – YES – wonderful!
Robyn
Also the words — intrigue and mystery – and humor all wrapped in one. Enjoyed Lots
you really know how to make someone’s morning! thank you for this
I am thrilled you had fun with this. Lots of Haiku in my world
Dude! You must be the undisputed King of Hipstamatic!
I wish Hipsta would put me on their staff
Very nice collection and there’s the deadwood again. Something about it moves me. Makes me want to crawl in there and hang out awhile.
I feel much the same. I love a deadwood crawl
Love your giant! And love In and Out!! Great photos.
Thanks, he is a mostly docile guy
One of my favorite’s in a while.
Thanks, it is one of the first ones on the block in a bit
