Italy Images from a Month in the Boot is my 3 part series of photos taken exclusively from my iPhone and from our month-long journey in Italy this year. The photos are not chronological and are simply used to evoke feelings and a sense of wanderlust in readers. Enjoy

One can never get tired of seeing pics from Italy. Meanwhile, … yippee … you visited my birthplace …. Trieste!
you were born in Trieste? holy cow! I did not know

Beeing greek I must say that this photo of the temple looks at least amazing!!! Althought travel enought in Italy, I have never been to Sicily and I am starting to think about it!
you would love Sicily! Go!
Beautiful shots Michael. Love # 5!!
thank you!
Great photos. Ok, so what filters did you use with the IPhone for these shots? The canal at Mazzara del Vallo is exceptional.
Angeline, it is a long list of things usually. for this was simply Camera+ and Snapseed
Though I love my own life and would never switch lives with anyone else… I am a tad envious of your beautiful travels. Thank you for sharing, my friend.
my pleasure Currie! how are things?
Things are GREAT! I got a job and I’m loving it. Now, if only I could find one of those boyfriends……
yeah, the job is more important
keep traveling, exploring, and living and someone awesome will come along for the ride
Beautiful pics! I love Italy and can’t wait to go back!
Italy is awaiting you
me too!
Wonderful pictures
thanks Boomie!
Dude very awesome journey on that boot. I especially like the column towers, the wine rack, and that little canal. Very cool. I’m saving my pennies and when I finally go I’ll be sure to check in with you so I know where to eat.
Keep saving Guat! It is well worth the trip
Gorgeous photos. You captured the moments really well!!
thank you! I just shoot what I see happening
i find it keeps me happy and engaged
Totally agree. And it shows in your shots.
you are really making my day..thank you!
I don’t know why.. I’m always looking for a “favorite”.. today it’s the canals in Venice.. it’s been too long since I’ve had Wanderlust and high time I get back to Venice!
Agreed! I do think I see hints of wanderlust in your writing and your work…perhaps you have it muted a bit. Venice is a sure fire way to get it back!
Excellent photos! Another spot that’s on my travel list. And it really does remind me of Greece. Love that the warmth of the sunshine comes through in the pictures!
Thank you! Italy is my other home so I am certainly partial to it. Sicily is like some sort of surreal dream with actual sensations
